Raven’s software solution helps manufacturers track equipment performance and pinpoint operational bottlenecks. The company wanted to refresh their brand to appear more modern and leading edge, in line with how other software-as-a-service (SaaS) websites present themselves.
Raven chose Aurora to lead the brand refresh, website design and build, and integration of the new site with the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform. At the same time, Aurora’s sister company, Simple Story, would develop an explainer video about Raven’s software.
Aurora first had to refresh Raven’s brand, which meant updating the company’s existing brand guidelines document. The refreshed brand then informed the design and build of the new Raven website.
As part of the build, Aurora also created six landing pages for Raven’s HubSpot CRM platform, along with additional illustrations and assets needed to fill out the website.
For the brand refresh, Aurora collaborated with Simple Story on a mood board to ensure the video and website shared a consistent look and feel. Aurora then created an updated brand guidelines document for Raven that included illustration styles defined by Simple Story.
Craft&Crew created the website wireframes, which were then handed over to Aurora to apply the new brand guidelines for the UI design. Through the design, Aurora aimed to ensure Raven looked like the forward-thinking, AI-powered SaaS company it is.
When designing the UI, Aurora also created numerous small animations for the website, bringing to life numbers and metrics to showcase the improvements and benefits Raven’s software can deliver to manufacturers.
Aurora built the Raven website using WordPress with custom modules. The exception was the six CRM landing pages, which had to be built in HubSpot. While this wasn’t particularly challenging, it did require consideration during the design phase because HubSpot is more restrictive as to what can be built in it when compared to website builders that use HTML and CSS. A few forms on the website also needed to be integrated with the company’s CRM platform.
The client was thrilled with the updated brand and website. Because of the fantastic work done on this project, Aurora has since won three additional projects with this client, including the Cerio rebrand and website.
